

If you upgraded Win10 and are using your old Reflect install perhaps this could be causing a problem? I'd uninstall then reinstall Reflect if this is the case. Fwiw, I DID update the scheduled backup in Windows Task Scheduler but as I noted above starting the Scheduled Backup manually is working for me.ĭid you upgrade to Win10 or do a fresh install? I formatted my drive and performed a fresh install of the OS and subsequently Reflect as well. If so, I wonder if that could have caused a problem at some point. I don't recall the details, but I wonder if that would help? Just edit the XML file and save it again - no changes necessary. It seems Macrium advised we needed to update XML files in a certain circumstance for one of the upgrades. A timer counts down and the backup starts. A window pops up, as expected, indicating a backup will run. I can go to the "Scheduled Backups" tab, right click on a scheduled backup and pick Run Now. I can still do a manual backup when I need one, so this is not a major "bug." More of a annoyance, really. I can't say for sure if the problem is Windows 10 related, I upgraded both computers that run Reflect, or a problem with the latest Reflect version, v6.1.9.36.

It is only when I try to initiate a scheduled backup manually, by right-clicking the schedule and selecting "Run Now," Nothing happens. Log entries created as well as the actual backup files. The automated scheduled backups run, as expected. Check the backup job in the task scheduler and be sure you have specified the user as one with the appropriate permissions to run Reflect. What happens when you try to run a scheduled backup? Check the Reflect log, is there an entry? If not, Reflect probably did not run so the problem would be in the scheduler.
